Calendar Voting Round 1!

I uploaded all the nominated panels to a facebook album. The ones with the most likes move on to the next round. If you do not have a facebook account and I would not blame you: Each image has a number in the description. Simply send me your votes through the comment section here, or any of my other social media sites, and I’ll factor it into the voting.

Patreon supporters get to see the uncolored pages I have done during October! This is where the rewrite really diverges from the original, so I don’t know that I’ll move them back till the chapter is complete because it’ll be inconsistent/confusing for new readers.

Part of me wanted the mint container to be a ten gallon jar with “Guess How Many Mints are in Here! Win a Signed Mask!”

So… we have some neighbors that, about a month ago, started throwing treats over our fence to our dogs every time their dogs and our dogs would bark at each other through the fence. This has caused some issues, like Pavlov’s dog, our dogs quickly learned that if they barked through the fence they would get treats, so they did it more and more. They started barking at the neighbor dogs at every opportunity, they hang out in that back corner of the fence all the time, they won’t listen to us and come in the house till they get their treat. Several times me and my family talked about confronting the neighbors about it (they live in an rv in someone else’s back yard?? Part of the problem is not knowing how to get to them), but also nothing too bad happened because of it…

Until today. They threw over treats first thing in the morning, before our dogs had eaten anything, so they were hungry and more aggressive about food (especially Gwladys who was a starving rescue puppy when I first got her). Maeve and Gwladys got into a fight over the treats that escalated quickly. I came out because I heard banshee snarling and by then it was over. I called the dogs to come inside and then noticed Maeve was dripping a trail of blood. Thankfully it was only two marks on her ear, but it was bleeding so much! And she kept shaking her head a lot, which made blood splatters up the walls (Maeve was very helpful in decorating the house for Halloween!)

Anyway, I got up bright and early to finish this page, but then that happened, which is why this is late. I’ll take inventory of the calendar nominations and get the first poll up by Monday.

The moral is don’t feed other peoples’ animals and don’t let strangers feed your animals, even if you’re an introvert who doesn’t want to talk to anyone.
