Enel has no clue what’s going on. The one thing he knows is that if Idony and Marcus both have a fondness for cutting limes, by Jove, he will use that to match-make them.
As many of you know, I’ve been trying to redraw the early chapters for of The Silver Eye for years and years. The progress has been pretty slow as it keeps getting set to the back-burner, and in the past I have said that I would only put the main story on hiatus as a last resort.
The time for the last resort is almost upon us. When Chapter 16 ends, I’m going to switch over to redrawing one or more of the revised early pages each week. The usual updates will resume with Chapter 17 in January of 2018.
I’ve been posting regularly for 8 years with a 1-3 week break here and there but I’ve never gone on a hiatus before and I’m nervous about it. Support from you Nerdarians has been comforting, and I think you’ll understand.
I want to finish Volume 1, and have something I can be proud of to show for the work I’ve put into The Silver Eye. Plus, this will put us a big step closer to having Volume 1 printed!
Next chapter has so much in it to look forward to. It’s got characters people have waited a long long time to see. It has a nice sprinkling of shippy stuff. It has info on Walter’s curse. It has shirtless Noah. I already can’t wait to come back!

I have a lot of things planned for the break: I’ll be resuming the weekly Q&A Comics, I have contests in store (both art and non-art related), and I’ll be sharing some of the content I’ve done on Patreon with everyone.
Chapter 17 focuses a lot on characters and dialog, so I’ll be regularly posting the colorless pages with dialog for spoiler level patrons on Patreon. (It’ll give me a nice line art buffer for when usual updates return. Bonus!) Alyssa and I have also planned out a joint series of short stories about characters you love, so Patreon will be getting a regular flow of TSE updates even while the main site is on break!
