T-shirt Design Contest!
Make a concept for a The Silver Eye T-shirt design! I will make the winning design(s) into finished art and list them on the Redbubble shop. Any medium goes. The art doesn’t have to be a masterpiece, but it should be legible enough that people can tell what’s happening. The focus should be on the concept more than polish.
- Grand prize winner gets $50!
- I don’t know how many designs I’ll have time to finish, or if I’ll just do the one, but if I do extra designs, entrants will get $15 per design I use.
- By entering the contest, you’re agreeing that I can sell designs made from the concepts on shirts.
- You can enter as many concepts as you want!

So… my birthday started off with my uncle having a heart attack while out for his morning run, and he was airlifted to the hospital. He’s a pretty healthy guy and we have high hopes that he’ll recover well. It was a scary morning. (He is irl Velvare who Velvare was inspired by)
Other than that the day was pretty great! There was good family-friend time. We went on a long walk around Fort Monroe, which is a location I love more than ever. I got SO MANY amazing fanart for The Silver Eye readers for my birthday! I want to make a compilation of them when I get the time.
I got a letter yesterday evening from my insurance company (Anthem) and they’re dropping coverage of Novolog… It’s only the medicine that’s been keeping me alive for 12 years and that I’ve named a fictional boat after… and I don’t even know how to respond to that. (Except for this gif)–>
And about the actual page… Lynna is the fandom mom, here to caution everybody against high expectations, and I am here to crush all expectations and also hopes and dreams.
